Refund/Return/Exchange/Cancellation Policies
Return/Refund/Exchange Policy: In the event that you have ordered an outdoor picnic and due to inclement weather you cannot or choose not to hold your picnic outdoors you have the following options: (1) You can change your outdoor picnic to an indoor picnic and have the picnic indoors for no extra cost (2) Reschedule your picnic for another date or time at no extra cost (3) Cancel your picnic and receive a full refund within 3 business days. If you paid with credit/debit card then your funds will be refunded to that card. If you chose to pay C.O.D. then no payment has been made and in this case there is nothing to refund. All picnic baskets are “as is” and final sale. Picnic baskets cannot be exchanged or returned. In the event that you find that you are dissatisfied with a food item then we will exchange it as soon as possible. However, food items that have been more than partially eaten (more than one or two small bites) will not be accepted for return or exchange. In the case that you are dissatisfied with a food item that has not been more than partially eaten you must contact That Picnic Place via e-mail or telephone immediately (no less than 2 hours after drop-off time). We will not accept these items if we are contacted more than 2 hours after drop-off time. We do not accept beverages (including soda, wine, champagne, bottled water, and juice) for return or exchange. Due to their sensitive nature open or used Novelty Items cannot be returned or exchanged. Games/Recreation items can only be exchanged if something has been damaged in transit to your picnic location, however game/recreation items damaged by you cannot be exchanged or returned. A That Picnic Place representative will attempt to contact both via telephone and e-mail to confirm your picnic location, date, and time the day before. No refund will be issued to you if you have given That Picnic Place the incorrect picnic location, time, or date and as a result do not receive your picnic basket package(s). This section doesn't apply to large orders (multiple baskets, picnics with over 5 attendees, wedding packages, party packages, Build Your Own orders where specialty items have been used). Rescheduling a Picnic Delivery: In the event that you need to reschedule your picnic for either a later or earlier time on the same date of your scheduled delivery you must contact That Picnic Place at least 24 hours in advance. If you contact That Picnic Place at least 24 hours in advance then a That Picnic Place representative will notify you of the available time slots (if any are available) and you are required to choose from these times OR maintain your originally scheduled time slot. If either there are or no time slots available or the available slots do not meet your needs then the picnic delivery will be cancelled and a refund will be issued. If you contact That Picnic Place on the day of your scheduled picnic delivery(or less than 24 hours before) and request to reschedule for either a later or earlier time on the same date of your scheduled delivery the request will most likely not be honored due to lack of availability. A That Picnic Place representative will notify you of the available time slots(if any are available) and you are required to choose from these times OR maintain your originally scheduled time slot. If either there are or no time slots available or the available slots do not meet your needs then the picnic delivery will be cancelled and no refund will be issued.This section doesn't apply to large orders (multiple baskets, picnics with over 5 attendees, wedding packages, party packages, Build Your Own orders where specialty items have been used). Cancellation Policy: You must cancel your picnic at least 24 hours in advance and meet the terms in the return/refund/exchange policy in order to receive a full refund. We will not refund you for picnics cancelled the day of the picnic or with less than 24 hours notice of the scheduled picnic. This section doesn't apply to large orders (multiple baskets, picnics with over 5 attendees, wedding packages, party packages, Build Your Own orders where specialty items have been used).
